Dearest Emma,
I was honored to be present at your birth! You were screaming before you were out. You, Mom and Dad all worked very hard. It was so worth it, you were beautiful, just perfect!
So many people loved you. You were just developing her own personality. You were smiling and laughing and we just couldn't get enough of you. Big sister Malorie would walk by you and stop...and say "She's so cute." We loved watching Mommy and Daddy and Malorie enjoying you and you were so sweet even when you spit-up on everyone!
You will always own a big peice of our hearts. We love you and will miss you til we can be with you once more. You will always be our little Angel, You are just in God's hands now.

Dearest Emma Shea,
I bragged about you all the time. How you were so sweet, beautiful, happy, smiley and had such a consistently mellow disposition from day one.
I remember when we were finished changing your diaper, how you would smile so big, waving and kicking your chubby little arms and legs. Making me continue silly faces and voices to keep trying to make you smile. You were such a good baby...sleeping through the night for Mommy & Daddy, while you were still so little.
The last time I saw you, I came for a visit and you were in your swing in the living room. You looked up and smiled so big when I said hello. I dropped my purse off in the kitchen, came back into the room and you looked up again...with a big smile. Mally came over to your swing, bent down and kissed you on the cheek. Precious doesn't even begin to describe it.
Falling asleep while still sitting upright in your Grandpa's arms. Sitting with us on the back porch, content as could be...taking in the world around you. You even kicked on command for me a few times when you were still in Mommy's tummy. Emma, I loved you before I ever set eyes on you and will love you for the rest of my days.
